Do you ever actually look at peoples' profiles...?

You know, just random other people that answer questions? I always forget it's even a possibility.

All the time... I don't get many people answering my questions, because I am a little obscure... So I like to read about the people who answer me.

Many of them are like me... give no clues, but that is half the fun!!

EDIT: I even check out their blogs... yours is so cool!

If I'm answering a question, I usually read other people's responses and if I see an answer that peaks my interest, I will look at their profile and sometimes IM if they allow. Same goes with the question asker...if someone asks a particularly intriguing or funny question I'll check their profile.

I do it a lot, especially in health or safety questions. I only do answers I know, but some people answer any and everything, wether they have any knowledge or not.
The ones that get me are the ones who work 'in the medical field' - what, cleaning the toilets?
I like to research anything I'm not sure of - but other people just listen to old wives tales, etc.

Sometimes, for me it just depends on if I think the person answering the question or asking the question seems interesting to me.
