There are loads of things in life to be enjoyed that don't kill you, it depends on your lifestyle and perspective though.
Enjoyable things that don't kill you and in fact make your life more fulfilled include;
sex, exercise, travelling, watching a band, cooking homemade meals, reading, meeting new people, watching a good film etc
The choices we make in life are what makes it either happy or unhappy. People that choose to smoke know that they are killing themselves slowly, this is a decision they have made, people who choose to eat at Mcdonalds everyday know that they are clogging their arteries, this is a decisions they have made. We are all responsible for ourselves and our own well being.

Boring answer??
We don;t live how we are designed. We crave food of high fat and sugar levels becuase our ancestors possibly only ate every few days. It was hard to hunt so we crave what foods keep us going. Trouble is, now food is abundant (in the west anyway) we still crave and eat such foods, but 3 times a day and our bodies can't cope.
There are pleny of things that are fun that don't kill you - sex (if careful) excerise, TV, music etc etc
Sorry to be dull, but thought you might a more detailed answer!

Although I do enjoy eating. I'm not doing a lot of it at the minute and smoking is vile .... but I still do it.
There are many other enjoyable things but I can't think of any at the minute.

The ancient Greeks wrote on their temples;
"Nothing in excess"
We can enjoy everything without jeopardizing our mental and physical health if done in moderation.

If you believe in God then lets just say its a test. A test that determines how good u are and what you are capable of. If you dun believe in God, then lets just say thats the way it is. well thats just my opinion.

Well, I almost responded with an agreement, because I love all forms of tobacco, chocolate, alcohol, and food...
But then I remembered how great sex (even when it's just with yourself...), music, and looking at pretty crap(art... women... nature) is.
