I thought it was racist in the fact that these guys were typifiing the worst stereo types of the black community. I'm not mortified over it or anything, but I did think it was in pretty bad taste. I mostly just found their segments really annoying.

To whoever said Cryme Tyme was the most interesting thing to happen to Raw in a long time. Wow. I really don't think so. If ya want the real nitty gritty J.T. and Shad were just watered down low rent rip-offs of the Gangstas. And the Gangstas would utterly destroy these rappin and rhymin idiots. Cryme Tyme was not funny either. Really they were just very annoying. They sold their stupid stolen merchendice more than they wrestled.

You guys cant get enough of these wrestlers, but you say Cryme Tyme is a racist gimmick, Bullcrap!
DOnt just point Shad and JTG out this is so biased and ridiculous. They were funny and entertaining and should be appreciated for being the most interesting thing to happen to RAW in a long time!

With Cryme Tyme mean't another attitude era which would have been great. Sure there gimmick was a risk Vince made and it worked. I think they will return in the future soon like matt hardy and many others did when they were fired.

I'm not I don't think that there racist but theyywere funny,had good story lines and were good wrestlers.They were my favorite tag team on Raw.

Racist? How was it racist? They never spoke one racial slur to anyone. It was all in fun. Lighten up. I am sad they are gone they were entertaining and pretty fair wrestlers.
