Do you think I have the looks to be an actress?

Question

Acting has been my dream since I was a child, I don't want it for the money.. I just want to do it because I LOVE IT and it's what I'm best at.. But, Do I have the looks to star in a film/commercial? What do you think?

Oh yeah, I am 16 years old.. lol sorry forgot to add that.

Also, I know who cares what I look like.. but some people are very shallow and rather cast someone hot that sucks at acting other than someone average who is very good at acting. According to many people, I am a great actress. I was in theatre arts, and was one of the top actresses in my class.

I also love making short films.. lol ah sorry lots of add-on details.

You're a pretty girl, but you have to understand it's about your talent, not necessarily your looks.
If you love to act so much, sign up for a community theater or look for auditions, but they are going to give you the job, not because you look pretty, but because you can act.

Looks have nothing to do with acting. And ignore all the suggestions from the junior makeover consultants. You're pretty and leave it at that...and so follow your own heart.

I think you look good, but you don't have much color. Personally I think people over-tan and it isn't healthy BUT that is what you get on TV and Movies USUALLY. I say give it a try though, as long as you are willing to be turned down and not take it too personally. Keep in mind that most stars get turned down quite a few times before they finally get a break, and even that doesn't get them in usually. If you are willing to accept multiple rejections even after you get a job then go for it.

yes, you do but, you have got to change a few things .First stop wearing black cloths it doesn't accent you at all it drowns you out.you have a really nice facial frame ,bring it out further with some color try using blue eye liner to bring your eyes out,stop dying your hair its killing it get some hair care to liven it up add bounce it, try a new style of bangs to shorten you forehead just alittle try some of these things out ,your lips are perfect the fullness of the lower lips to the slim upper lips simply gorgeous ad color you want people to see your lips moving when your acting, you want to seduce their eyes ears and hearts and you can and will.don't look at it as changing look at it a character building. please write back to see the changes.and good luck look for you in the spot light.

i think that u were pretty a little pale but it doesnt matter if u have looks or not it only matters about the way u act...there are a lot of stars who are ugly and are great actors...
