its nasty! i worked for united after graduating culinary school. there was next to no cooking involved. just taking frozen food out of a box and putting it on little warming trays that get heated up slowley over the course of 6 hrs. its even worse now that united got rid of their foodservice divison and outsourced.

actually my flight had a a variety of foods. not just peanuts. it had oreos,cheese & crackers, raisins,sunchips, your choice of drink; and yeah it still had peanuts for an option. ok it's still junk but at least some differents kinds. =)

We got to upgrade to first class recently and it wasn't that bad. It was like a wrap from chic fila. That was on AA.
