Who knows?
There are bacteria eating away at your skin as you are typing. Also have you ever thought of the amount of bacteria on lets say... Your toothbrush????
What about food??
It's everywhere, So I wouldn't be too concerned.

If she boils the clothes first then it´s not a problem as the germs would have been killed with the boiling hot water. Sure she cleans her clothes better than most people. The bleach in my point of view is a waste of time has sooner or later the bleach eats away at the material Boiling your clothes before putting them in the washing machine is enough. No Bleach for me

When you consider the whole cycle of life, your food comes from the decomposing excrement and bodies of dead animals, bugs, and vegetation. Does this mean that your food has the bacteria that came from those things? No. Do not worry so much, wash your hands often and keep your toothbrush clean.

I think it's all right.. She soaks them before in HOT water and then runs them through a laundry cycle... Then they should be clean.. However, if you are that worried about it use some antibacterial wipes on the countertops/appliances..

I wouldn't do it either but the truth is if she puts the wash on hot- that is hot enough to kill germs which is actually boiling, then it's fine.

She's doing the right thing, She's bleaching them and hot water. Doesn't get better than that. I'd do it.

I don't think there is an actual problem with it since she is using bleach, hot water, and soap.

i understand that it seems gross, but the whole bleach thing and so long as there's no solid matter floating around with it, i think it should be OK

There probably is no actual problem, but the concept bothers me too. I for one, would not do it.
