I know most of heard that ric flair might quit the wwe becuase of the lack of push and hearing from managment. TNA is aware of this and if no one can come to a decision he will sign with tna which I might add will be getting a 2hour time slot. I'm not taking sides but if tna does get ric flair could this be the start of a downfall of the wwe? Even king booker is tired of the wwe and might go to tna. I know what your thinking yeah sure these maybe "wwe rejects" but ric flair is a legend and is king booker but not as ric flair is.

The one reason why the WWE will have an advantage over TNA is the size of the corporation, the WWE.

Ric Flairs' presence will help TNA but that's where it ends, his presence. Flair is one of the best guys on the mic with charisma that the fans can't ignore. However, if he insists on wrestling ... at some point, the fans will turn on Flair for overstaying his welcome when it comes to wrestling in a ring. I can see one last match, a retirement match (or a type of tribute or farewell match) for Flair ... going up against his arch-enemy Sting. After that, Flair needs to hang up the boots and become an on-air talent for wrestlers who need to learn how to work the mic. (Special Note: This would happen after Ric Flairs' contract expires. The WWE will never release Flair unless Flair has an added stipulation in his contract for an automatic release from the no-compete clause. The WWE would rather pay Flair to sit at home than to loose him to TNA.)

Booker T still has youth on his side and could make an impact in TNA. I question how TNA would book the former King of the Ring. Assuming they will elevate him into Main Events upon his arrival, which current TNA Main Eventers will be bumped down to midcard status? Kurt Angle? Doubtful ... I also get the feeling Booker T has remained in wrestling because it pays well and he's been lucky enough not to have a string of injuries. Booker T is very talented but now he is in this business for the money. What has he not accomplished? I think Booker will end up retiring when his current WWE contract expires.

Don't forget, will TNA bring in enough money through a 2-hour timeslot (assuming the ratings increase) to cover their expenses of all their recent hirings (which can't be cheap)? Unless former WWE wrestlers are willing to work for peanuts, the signings of Flair and Booker would be the beginning of the end for TNA (which alot of people already feel is happening) ---> Coming soon to a television channel near you ... TNA = WCW (the sequel) ...

Ric Flair hasn't quit yet from what I have been told. He is in talks with WWE about getting a major push towards the World Title or the US title.I personally would like to see him as US champ.Booker T signed a new deal with WWE and hasn't expressed anything about wanting to leave lately. I really would not like to see either of the 2 go, b/c Flair, who is definitly too old to be in the ring, and Booker are still great performers.

If Flair and Booker go to TNA. And they get the 2 hour timeslot, we may see another WCW.

But TNA won't still top the WWE. Even after 8-13 years. The WWE is a multi-million dollar company and it is still the connection of WWE fans to other wrestling.

It wouldn't really be smart for WWE to hire him back, WWE needs to push younger talent. Adding Flair to a roster is just holding them back and giving him the spotlight. WWE has already lost Jericho, Michaels, Triple H at WM27, possibly Edge after WM27. Younger talent has to take over the business. If Flair was the GM, then that wouldn't make ANY sense at all. Most WWE fans watch TNA and know he's been on TNA, so the storyline just wouldn't make any sense for him being the GM when he's been on TNA for recent years.

what don't you people get? Flair is ready to retire come March. Wrestlemania 24 was to be his last wrestling match. If he doesn't come to terms with WWE he is NOT i repeat NOT going to go to TNA, he will just retire early. And if by some odd circumstance he went to TNA who cares? Flair is horrible. and get on me with blah blah blha he is a legend blah blah blah. His matches are sooo boring. He is too old to do anything. And as far as Booker goes he sucks pretty bad too. And the King Booka gimmick is possibly the single most annoying gimmick ever. I'd be happy to see him leave. If you want to talk about people jumping ship look at TNA. Half the roster is continuously left off tv. It is pissing them off cause they don't get paid if they don't perform. There are a ton of big names, Somoa Joe, AJ Styles, and even Abyss that are just waiting for a great WWE contract to come their way because they hate how they get de-pushed in order to make room for all the WWE rejects. Rumor has it that at least 9 major TNA "superstars" (if you can even call them that) have contracts that expire in the fall, and not one of them is looking to renew in hopes of getting a WWE deal. If anything TNA is on the downfall, it has already been compared to WCW before they went out by most experts and former WCW superstars. All you TNA fanboys need to face it WWE is here to stay, they make 10x what TNA is worth each quarter.

I don't think losing Ric Flair would lead to the downfall of the WWE. He wants to leave the WWE because he's not getting pushed...he's no longer a main eventer, so in my opinion, he's expendable.

WWE is just about sunk. The U.S. Congress is gonna hang Vince's Head from the Barn Door with these hearings..that is what parts of Vince The Media leaves for them.Flair SHOULD go to TNA. It would be awesome to see him wrestle Sting one more time. And I believe TNA will give him the one final title run he sooooo very richly deserves.

Ric Flair needs to go to the nursing home for retired pro-wrestlers.
And as far as your hopes of TNA somehow beating WWE in ratings or whatever, keep dreaming.
