i like danielle's answer.
but i often thought it was inaccurate to portray him as white. Being that the area he was from is middle eastern, and desert wouldn't he be tanned or brown skinned, and probably dark haired.(all the pix ive seen are of a white man white long blond hair) besides how do we know what he looks like anyway...if someone could direct me to some scripture or documentation from 2000 years ago that would have a description of him i would be very grateful.

Jesus actually existed in the past and that was his skin color. He should have a little more tan though. He was basically known as a rebel fighting against the Catholic rules. He became more famous after his death, thanks to his followers.
It's just ridiculous seeing how people doesn't know about this. The only qiestion about him is not whether he exists or not since he did, but it's whether he had any of these "powers" that Christians claims he has.

Because stuck-up whites who believe they are responsible for all the good in the world would like to believe that he was white, when there is no possible way he could have been.
Sounds harsh, but it's the truth.

Jesus was Middle Eastern, which means he would have darker skin than the traditional Jesus.
What is sad is that everyone is so obsessed with what color his skin is (not important, people) and they don't focus on everything else.

The Bible says ( I don't know the verse) that Jesus had hair like sheep's wool and skin like bronze. Doesn't sound like the anglo-saxon type to me.
