I am a stay at home mom with way to much time on my hands. I have the enitre house cleaned by n10 am, and my kids tend to keep themselves busy. I love painting, making jewlery, cross stich. and I also have been working on a scrap book. But I need something else to do. I am going nuts just sitting at home doing the same thing all the time. I also take my kids to the park, go shopping just to walk around. But what else is there. I also read books.

Try origami - some of those folds are "hum-dingers" for lack of a four letter word! Its cheap and you can make a mobile for your kids' rooms, and you can use tissue paper if you cut it down to size. Have you thought about baby-sitting? That's how I made money as a kid, and it will do a world of good for your little ones to interact with other children, to prepare them for when its time to go to school, you'll have your hands full and still earn some cash for the effort. Thankfully, my 3 year old starts school next week. Once your little ones start school, you'll be safe to get a part-time job, or go be a lunch aide at your childrens' school, you'll get a paycheck and a mommy fix in one fell swoop. It does get a little easier once they are potty trained and stuff, even though it gets a little harder because you have to allow them to have a little independence once they start going to school. I don't know about you, but I die a little each time I take my son to school, because I know that he's one more day away from me. I am not a SAHM, but the grass is not greener on the other side - they both come with advantages and disadvantages of their own...cherish this time, because it will never come again, I already feel it slipping away and my boys are only 3 and 5. I can just imagine what its going to be like when they get to be teenagers and don't have time for their old clingy mom anymore. Maybe my husband and I will be able to act like teenagers again - LOL, anyway, here's to wishful thinking!

Well, try something different .. Christmas is coming up or to be politically correct the "holiday season" why not make homemade "holiday ornaments" or another type of craft.. Soap making, candle making something the kids can help you with and give them as gifts to your friends.. If you have so much idle time on your hands maybe it's time to get a small part-time job... I'm a SAHM mother of 2 boys and I was feeling a bit down and lacking adult interaction so I got a part-time job at KOHL'S dept. store in the evenings and I love it.. It's not a lot of money but, it gets me out of the house w/o kids and I work with othe adults and work with customers the work is super easy and you get a fab-discount on merchandise ! Then you can open up a savings account and maybe save up to take a new art class or scrapbooking class or take up a new hobby all together ! Good luck
