im having my first child in abt a month, a boy! and even though i cant wait to see him, im worried abt my ability to take care of him with my limited means of money. does anyone no of any web sites or places that help with getting diapers, free birthing classes, or others odds and ends for my baby boy.

church is always a good one.. i had a friend that got a LOT of stuff from a church. (and she didn't even go there) Also sign up for WIC they give you a lot... free milk, formula. etc.

post a wanted ad on craigslist. i have found tons of free and cheap clothing on there. got a free turtle sand box and 4 over stuffed garbage bags of kids clothing.
alot of ppl post free first come first serve... or discount heavily.
also post in the yard/garage sales that you are on limited funds but can take left over items for free or discount.
contact local churches and charities... twds holiday time they start adopting needy families to provide for them

You should sign up for your local freecycle group. That was a big help for me and my husband. Its people posting stuff they are giving away for free in your area. Go to freecycle.org to find it. The postings will be sent to your email.

depending on where you live will find more offers, but churches are grate, and you can look into garage sales, also yahoo has groups and you can look up a free cycle group in your area
