I believe in the human mind to subtlely play tricks on itself. Ouija boards are much like palm reading, self-fulfilling prophecies, and my mother. You hear what you want to hear, you see what you want to see. The human mind picks up on the familiar, on patterns and trends, and ignores pretty much everything else. We allow MILLIONS of daily stimuli to pass right through without even acknowledging hteir existence.

No .You see actually what we feel as the coin or something you keep in the middle moving is just as a reason of your hand moving something like vibrating after all we are humans and move. But Ouija board is used for calling the spirits good or bad and the when we feel the coin moving we believe that the spirit has come .When we keep our fingers away but not with too much pressure we can see that they come closer the same this is happening in the Ouija board (we are said not to apply more pressure on the coin) nor is the spirit gonna come if you say good spirit please come after u draw 2 circles on a paper and some letters and numbers on it .But some people can and might be able to talk 2 the spirits

Yes i do believe in the Ouija boards ability to contact spirits but i do not believe that it can draw forth demons and all the other ogie boogies that popular urban legends suggest. Lets just put it this way and i have said this before, A Ouija board is as dangerous as a plastic knife. Yeah its a wonderful tool and yeah if misused can hurt you but really not all that badly.
Personally i think Ouija boards make wonderful place mats at my Halloween parties. :P

I believe in Ouija boards in much the same way I believe in Monopoly money. I know that each exist.

The Ouija board may be relied upon to contact the "spirit world" with the same faith that would lead one to think that Monopoly money could be used to pay for a plane ticket.

No. Since I don't believe in acturaly spirts, demons and ghosts nothing scary would acturaly happen to me.
Now if I was one of those gullible types who believed in paranormal nonscense of scary things existing them something would happen to me. It's all in the mind I think.
I do have to say I find people who claim all kinds of horrible stuff happening fascinating but I weren't bother with arguing with them for it would be like arguing with a wall not matter how tempting it is to argue.

Anything can be a tool of divination, even a toy board...so yes, in the hands of someone who is skilled...no when in the hands of amateurs...

it sounds like you're asking if we believe in their existence. do you mean do we believe whether they actually communicate with spirits or not? I was raised to believe it was just a toy and scientists have explained the moving of the planchette. I had one and never got spooky answers or felt I was talking to ghosts with it.
