Sump pumps are used to evacuate water from basements and move it to the outside of the house. They have a switch that turns them on/off when enough water has entered the sump. They do not go to the septic tank. I, personally, do not like using a disposer with a septic. This causes more solids to go to the tank and requires more frequent pumping. The bacteria in the tank has problems "eating" all the solids. Cleaning cost varies by area. All you can do is call a septic company in your area.

Bc1012 is right about the sump pump.
However, i do it a little different. I hooked up my so that it would empty into my septic tank.
And concerning the price for having your septic pumped out, you can expect to pay $150.00-$200.00 depending on where you live. I live in Miami County and last time I had mine pumped out,
it cost me $150.00. It may be different where you live. Check with different septic tank contractors and compare prices. Do not accept the first one you call.
I hooked up my own sump pump. If you need assistance, i would be glad to help you.
