Please explain in detail which group is more soulful. Personally, I think are equally soulful.

I love them both!!..EWF had more soul/pop/funk hits,they crossed over and became one of the biggest acts in music history!!i think their Gratitude Album took them to another level..MAZE and Frankie are off the chain..they were more smooth and kept the midnight love and smooth r&b listeners awake!!..they used to open up for Marvin Gaye,even Frankie is playing drums on Got To Give It Up..they both are legendary top notch bands period..but I like MAZE a lil better

This is a tough question for me. I think MAZE feat.Frankie Beverly is the more soulful of the two. Frankie Beverly's voice is way more soulful than Phillip Bailey or Maurice White but EW&F made the most hits. I love both of them but if I was standed on a Desert Island with a choice of either music catalogs by each Group I would choose Earth Wind & Fire

I like them both but, Frankie Beverly & Maze is more of a smooth soul. I like them better.

I appreciate both, but hands down EWF, There songs are timeless and Phillip Bailey's range is off the charts.

For me its no contest. Earth, Wind & Fire are more versatile and had better songs and singing. Thats just my opinion. I love them and have alot of their albums.
