should india call irfan pathan back and give rest to ajig agarkar?

i m seeing that ajit agarkar is expensive in all matches, he takes wickets but gives too many runs, i think india should give chance to pathan, pathan is a bowler like mcgrath, everyone scares when he bowls, he just needs indian support and one chance to prove his self, they gave chance to ganguly and he proved that he is a good player now chance for pathan, i m sure he will bowl better, what do u think guys??

yes i think it should be done immediately.Ajit agarkar has given even many opportunities, but he is faild to perform well.and you are absolutely right that pathan is a good bowler.he was failed while the coach was Greg chapel.and now the Indian team performance is good in England tour.if pathan is added to the team it will definitely increases the strength of Indian team.am i right

I completely agree with you about giving rest to Ajit Agarkar infact rest is a very soft word. He should be dropped. I was so happy a few months back when he was dropped but he is back again in the team. I think Irfan Pathan is a fair bowler. Though I dont agree with you when you say that everyone gets scared of Irfan, I dont think so. He is not lightening fast to frighten anybody. But definitely he should be given a chance.

Dravid is a very good captain.But in some aspects he is too rigid.Such as his support to sehwag and agarkar.Those two are useless fellows , and they don't even look to utilise the opportunities provided to them.But Dravid stresses in all board meetings before every series to give chance to these two guys.Only in this way sehwag stayed in the team for a very long time without doing anything.Atlast , he was literally pulled out of the team.Think its time to do the same thing to agarkar too.But I personally feel that Pathan has been overused at many occasions and thats why his performance has deteriorated a bit.But chances should be given to him.He is a very good player.Need not stress him to be an allrounder.Let him be a bowler.Then he will show his potential.Waitng to see him come back in the 20-20 with a rigor.All the best Pathan................

So many chances are given to Ajit Agarkar but I can't remember when he gave performance. Neither with ball nor with bat. You are playing since 10-12 years still cant bowl Yorker, even just cant control line and length. There are so many other bowler at least doing batter. Pathan is a nice choice though we cannot compare him with McGrath.

Pathan has no speed in his bowling .Even Ganguly can bowl at that pace. Agarkar is around 135-140 and he is proving to be a wicket-taking bowler .This team combination is working well so i think india should keep the same team.

You are correct Ajit has always been very expensive from the very beginning of his career but he is a wicket taking bowler & so he is playing for a longtime. But don't talk rubbish, we should never bring back Pathan. There are lots of other bowlers.
How can u even think of comparing Pathan with a legend like Mcgrath???

no ways. You shouldn't see about this england tour but u must see about d 20-20 world championships starting next week.
Irfan Pathan should not be instead of Ajit, but with Ajit as both should bowl together

Pathan is already in T20 team.If he does well he can replace Agarkar.
Look at the last match
Agarkar - 8-0-63-1.
Anderson 8-0-79-0.
With the kind of fielding we have,fast bowlers are bound to go for runs.
If we have better options we can replace him.
