Ronin
Sean
Seamus
Liam
Dane (sounds like Zane, but more people might just like it better becasue there's no Z)
Shane
Rowan
Colin

Also, if you like Zane so much, you should just name him Zane and tell the family members firmly but politely to stuff it! He's your baby, not theirs.

My youngest son is named Liam which is Irish for William. Personally I think Zane is a great name. If you are interested check out www.babynamesofireland.com which will provide you with the meaning of the name as well as the pronunciation if you are interested. Good luck!

I think Zane is a fine name! If you're looking for more Irish names, I'm a bit biased toward Connor and Logan personally :) LOL
You might check out www.nymbler.com - it lets you put in names you like and then shows you names that are similar in style and popularity. For example if you put in Zane and Aidan it comes up with Keegan, Camden, Finn, etc. It's a really neat tool!

I have a lovely three month old baby that we have called James David. At the end of the day it is your child and I like the name Zane, so forget what family members say. You are the one carrying and going to give birth to your wonderful child! Good Luck.

I personally think that if you like the name Zane, then you should name him Zane. I like it, and I think it goes well with Aiden. You'll might just wish you had used the name Zane if you don't. Everyone has different opinions of different names... pick what you like.
