It is just a 50,000$ fine, no big deal for McLaren. They were clearly in the fault for not following the regulations and these regulations are there for a reason.
But it does show how blind some McLaren fans are, not even acknowledging a genuine lapse, putting all the blame on FIA, Ferrari and the tooth fairy. In fact their Hungarian win is questionable and McLaren has actually escaped.

Feels like the old bit of trying to mess with the championship for the benefit of some team or driver again doesn't it.
Or is this an excuse to give McLaren heck for something and thus take the focus off the spy scandal?
Ain't F1 swell! ;)

As if things are bad enough for the team, now they have to put up with this! And why did it take them 5 weeks to reveal that they may have had an illiegal gearbox?! This is totally ridiculous!

It seems to me that the more technology we have in F1 the more this is likely to happen.
I don't mean cheating or trying to pull a fast one but generally keeping on top of what you can and cannot do must be a nightmare for the teams.
The IRL and Champ cars keep it simple. I don't advocate F1 going as far as they have but some standardisation of parts should happen.

I swear all of this crap is like political scandals coming out right before an election. Something that happened years ago is now news.
When one accusation doesn't work, they think up something else to throw at McLaren.
Gee, what team would benefit the most?

Jealousy is talking again.
When someone started to win except for Ferrari. Fia always finds something to stop them. That's why they call Fia as Ferrari International Assistance.
Don't tell me Ferrari is all innocent!

Well, the FIA can't take away their points twice in the same race.
