I believe it will come down to the final week of the season for a division winner. The Cubs finish with six games at home against the Marlins and the Reds, the Cardinals finish with seven games at home against the Brewers, Mets, and Pirates, while the Brewers finish with seven on the road against the Cardinals and the Padres. The schedule definitely favors the Cubs and I also believe the Cubs have more depth on their roster which will carry them to the winner of the division.

Cubs. The reason I think cubs is becuase sweet lou is a great coach and that team is great. Im saying this and I dont like the cubs but like the yankees. If you check the stats, the Cubs are better. St. Louis is in this too, but not as good as the cubs. Cubs are leading it right now. Brewers have Prince Fielder, but all he can do is hit well, cant field nor run.Cubs just have a all round better team than the Brewers or St. Louis. And if you look at the players, they are all pretty good.

St. Louis cardinals......hotter than either the brewers or the cubs the past month or so just got back Mulder and Maroth to help out their terrible rotation and while mulder didn't pitch well last night it was his first start in over a year and they were in this same position last year when it came to the very last day of the season the brew crew is a young team who will probably win it next year and the cubs are the cubs Zambrano is hurt or doesn't care anymore or something cardinals offense has been boosted by Ankiel awesome play 22 rbi in last 22 games and 7 hr's to boot as long as you have pujos your good to go

Who should? Cubs (as much as I hate them :P). They spend the money, they have the more proven players.
Who do I want? Brewers (though I am biased, ive been a Crew fan my entire life, yeah kinda painful for a looooooong time). They can defintly do it, especially with Sheets back. They have been playing well lately and hopefully they can keep it up. Their favorable schedule doesnt hurt either (CIN, PIT, CIN, HOU, ATL, STL, SD (last 2 at home)) They shouldnt have a huge problem with 4 of those series at least.
Who do I think will end up winning? Cards. experience and Pujols, Nuff said

Looking at the Cubs's schedule I will have to say them. Other than St.Louis who is barely .500 the rest of the teams the Cubs play are well under .500 and are in last or next to last place.

Da Cubs.
They got the easier schedule. As appose to the Brewers or Cards who still have to face teams like the Mets, Phillies, and Padres.

Cubbies seem to be peaking at the perfect time.
Lilly looked good last night for the first time in a month.
Pinella likes to win and there is plenty of talent all around.
Cubs have great desire (did you see that catcher scoot last night?) and when it comes down to it, they aren't as hurt as others.
A lot to be said about the team factor when the talent is pretty even across the board. They have it!
I am not a cubs fan, but they sure impress me.

Cubs I hope, they have been playing hard, but of course so has the Brewers. I think the Cubs have people coming back that will help them get the playoff spot.

Manny: No team is an 'easy' team in September. It always happens that the second division teams become super powers in the last 3 weeks.
