well i know zune is coming out with a new version soon and apple just unvieled the new line of ipods so i would wait a little longer. then again its really up to you as to what you like and need

Wait, because microsoft just announced zune 2.0 for the holidays this year or go for the new ipod touch.

Might as well, I paid $215.50 for my 4gb Ipod nano at Target (it was on sale+the NY state tax included.)

look in to the archos 404 too.... $200 and larger screen with better colors...
that's what i'm getting myself for xmas to replace my ipod that died
