I use a 24 hour clock for myself; but if I'm giving dates and times for, say, publicising events, I always use the 12 hour clock because so many people are confused by the 24 hour one.
If we all ONLY used the 24 hour clock, no-one would find it difficult - a bit like when we went decimal. However, with 7pm being written as 1900, you can see where the confusion arises!

generally just the 12 hour clock if im writing it unless its on a form or something and it requests 24hr clock
