I need to go for a drive tomorrow(Public Holiday) for a bit of sight seeing and maybe some lunch/picnic with my friends.

Starting from the Sydney City.
Blue mountains is cool but been there many times.

A couple of hour drive and would be great. Can you suggest a nice place?

Drive through the Royal National Park to Stanwell Tops then down towards Wollongong and back through Bulli Pass.

Try some of the Southern Highlands villages - Picton, Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale, Bundanoon etc. There are lots of specialist shops and excellent pubs and restaurants.

NORTH - to the Central Coast......Terrigal and beaches around that way.
SOUTH - to Kangaroo Valley.
SOUTH-WEST - to BOWRAL and MOSS VALE.....might even have some TULIPS out by now.
NORTHERN BEACHES - to Manly and Palm Beach and all beaches in between.... come back via Pacific H'way.
EAST - Cruise all the beaches from BONDI to CRONULLA.
.
Sorry I sound like a "Beach-Bum" - I'm not, it's just that I think our coastal areas are so beautiful.
