First of all, Rosemary was NOT mentally retarded. She was a typical Kennedy, wild and loose. That did not sit well with Papa Kennedy. so to quiet her, they had her lobotomized.
Second of all, the Kennedy's get around paying taxes by keeping their money over seas.

The only Kennedy sons that were truly for the "little guy" were both assassinated. Teddy is a poor example.

Well Ted wasn't for little ole Mary Jo Kopkne now was he. He had to avoid the DUI charge first. Then there is that whole Nephew raping a woman at his Florida Mansion and whisking him away in the night to avoid his prosecution, can you say, aiding and abetting.
