It's been 5-6 years for me. An ex-girlfriend of the guy I was with had the nerve to come to my restaurant and throw a margarita in my face while i was working. Once my eyes stopped stinging I clocked her in the face, and guess what.... I GOT FIRED! how b/s is that?

It was about 13 years ago. I threw my drink in my ex's face and when I got up to leave he threw his and hit me in the back of the head. Bastard's got good aim. I hope you tore some $hit up before you left.

I don't remember ever throwing a drink in someone's face - but I do remember that when I was on my way to Edinburgh in 2005, I (unintentionally) threw some coffee over the suit jacket of the man sitting next to me on the train.

A bunch of friends and I went to Iowa for the Iowa St. vs Nebraska game a few years ago. My roomate backed into me and spilled some of my beer on me, me being drunk told him to watch it, to which his reply was to tip my glass back and spill more of my beer on me. So I tossed the rest in his face, a short fight insued before it was broken up..ten minutes later we were laughing about it playing pool.
If you got fired that is crap.

I would have hit her too. I dumped ice water on my 2 year old once...mid tantrum. When I told this story in the parenting section I got 21 thumbs down...Thing is that was that kids ONLY 2 year old tantrum.

LOL, this girl I know was buying my boyfriend drinks one night and I told him not to worry about it if she was that stupid because she knew I was his girlfriend. So, I let the dumbass keep buying him drinks. Hey, it's money we didn't have to spend!! But, at the end of the night when we were leaving, she tried to kiss my boyfriend and I saw the whole thing. He was turning his head like EWW, NO!! So, I charged over there and pushed her and slapped her drink all over her and then cussed her out. Needless to say, I haven't had to worry about her since...LOL.

I never did, but I had one thrown in mine by a cute chicked, and we ended up drinking and, um, you know, together for a few years. Also led to some back door action.

That would be about 5 years ago. I also hit him in the face with my beer mug, which broke his jaw and got me sent to anger management classes.

To answer your question, I've never had to do that; I was usually too drunk to care most of the time.

last night at the club...this kid comes up to the bar and stands next to me...grabs his drinks and spills a little on my brand new kicks.....i threw my drink in his face THEN i slapped him....i got thrown out for that one
