Alright Rumbler...
First I'll answer this concerned citizen's questions.:)
Answer: Hillary Clinton is against the parents making a choice in anything THEIR child does. She believes in the village, not the parents, raising the kids...and if homeschooling got in the way of her favorite phrase, then poodoo with that. Also if a teen got pregnant and wanted an abortion, she could do it WITHOUT parental permission. What does that tell you?
Home schoolers are allowed to go as far as they can in their education without being hampered by peer pressure or drinking and smoking. No being held back. They can expand their horizons. About the social thing, family is an adequate preparation. You learn everything in a fam.:) I know. Family is a MAJOR part of society. You take that away and you take away the thing that makes this country strong.

colleges that are public acquire investment based upon enrollment and private colleges siphon away a number of those numbers. residing house education and / or private education is now the only thank you to insure a respectable training. My dad replaced into contained in the Korean conflict and his dad replaced into in WW2. They have been the two marines and gained crimson hearts and have been embellished for valor. while he assisted my niece along with her historic past homework at some point he just about had a coronary heart attack on the way the actuality replaced into distorted. My niece now attends a private college which he will pay for. Public colleges run under federal administration and curriculum are pathetic at superb. a baby could learn greater gazing interest shows all day than attending public education recently. the possibility Hillary and others see with private colleges is that fewer human robots would be became out.

I was home schooled from 1st through 12th grade. The only time I set foot in a public school was for driver's ed. I used the diploma that I was given by my parents to enlist in the Army. I served in the 75th Ranger Regiment and attained to the rank of sergeant and was responsible for a team of 4 men. After the military, I used my home school diploma to get into college where I earned a 3.5 GPA before being accepted into a Physician Assistant program from which I will soon earn my master's degree. All this from an education given to me by a mother with a high school diploma and a blue collar father with a GED.

She is opposed to neither, but as an educator I can tell you she is opposed to No Child Left Behind, which has just the opposite effect of it's title (kind of like the PATRIOT ACT).
NCLB is a dismal failure. Also she opposes vouchers for charter schools. I live and educate in a state that has many charter schools and the VAST majority perform BELOW the public schools, far below, many have closed due to that. Parents won't send their kids to them and they can't make money and close.
She has never opposed private schools (most of which are parochial), she may oppose for profit private schools like some in the South, which have the primary intent of segregating, but I have never heard her say so.
Most parents who home school do so until the 9th or 10th grade, then send their kids to public or private school. I have taught MANY previously home schooled kids and MOST are not equipped for real world realities, at first & sometimes never catch up, also they are socially awkward much of the time, not always and not all, but most.
Most home schooling parents find teaching Trig, calculus, and other things too daunting and also find that their kids can not pass the standardized tests, they still must take and pass to graduate, so they go to regular school.
Also many times, home schoolers miss out on enhanced classes or electives like sociology or psych or debate, things like that. Their vocabularies are often quite high, but their conversation skills and social skills lag terribly behind, much or most of the time.
People must be prepared for the real world, not a protected and sheltered world. These kids often struggle in college for the above reasons, also and many tmes get VERY wild.
