Do we prefer young or older women/men?? I walked into a spa yesterday and this gorgeous little blonde was yapping like a lap dog on her cell phone, very loud, every other word was "like" drove me nuts and all I had a choice to do was to sit there and listen to it. WOW guys how can you handle that? I couldn't imagine the chatter and wondered who would have the patience for her. The immaturity is scarey, and we have all been there I know, well maybe not that bad, but curious if because of this reason younger guys prefer (attractive) older women? Women how bout you? Do you prefer sophisticated sexy older men or younger hot guys?

I prefer older guys.....Not that old neither but, my husband is 6 years older and I just couldn't imagine being with a younger guy and feeling like an older sister or mom to someone that I would be with or date...But, whatever makes another happy, I'll say GO for it !!!!

old or young, I look for intelligence and someone who says "like" every other word, does not have the intelligence I am looking for. I need someone I can talk to about anything, politics, books, religion, etc. even the silly stupid things, otherwise there would be no fun, and of course physical attraction, but I don't think that any one person should be ruled out because of age. I am personally one of the older woman, 30-40 range, and I have met some young people that are very intellictual and can hold a conversation with me. I have met some older as well, and have even met some older that cannot carry a conversation on about anything. So my point is it really doesn't matter of the age it is the maturity of the individual.

I am a man, and have a question for you! Does an age difference of 365 days (1 year) or less really matter? How much older are guys you usually date? I am willing to bet more than 1 year older. Boy I can see your personal ad. "adult female looking for man born on --(month) --(day) ---- (yr). By coincidence the above date would be your birthday, PICKY! PICKY! PICKY! Or si that obsessive? Maybe just plain weird. FYI: I prefer younger women. I actually am planning to date a woman ***** 21 years younger ***** !!!

Hey to me experience means a whole lot!!! Being with someone who knows how to act and respond is priceless. I've dealt with younger guys and sexually it's all about them -- and that's not what makes a good lover. When you get older you realize that being a good partner lover is making sure your significant other is happy and satisfied. The second thing is mental stimulation which for me is more important that anything - I want someone I can talk to about things- someone who has views and opinions from not only a place of experience, but from interest in things other than yourself. I see alot of young girls these days, that have no class, don't behave like ladies, no intelligent conversation, cell phones glued to their ear, while the rest of us have to listen to their meaningless conversations. . it's not all about looks . .bring something else to the table. . I see nice looking women everyday --and let's put it this way, if I were a man I wouldn't touch them.

My husband is 9 1/2 years older then I am. And for the simple reason, I could not date men my own age because they still acted like little boys.

Of course it depends on the maturity of the individual, some young girls think it's "cool" to speak like that, and ther's guys that like that, there's always the other half. Personally, I like guys that are mature, as Elvira was saying, intelligent, that can carry an interesting conversation, that make you laugh, and be interested, I've met some guys in their 40's that are very inmature and of course some in their 20's that are even more, but there's exceptions to every rule, there's some very mature guys out there that are just exquisite!!!! Doesn't matter the age!!!!

What you mentioned is EXACTLY why I perfer an older more mature woman. At 27 I was going through college with these young, good looking girls, but they were all annoying. Their hottness dissapeared the second they opened their mouths.

Although I'm sure once these chicks get out of college and realize that they no longer need to conform, they will be normal and wil become the older mature women.

This is why I married a woman who is older than I am.

I am hot and 42 and female, my boyfriend is extremely hot and 24. I like him because he is fun and outgoing, his sense of humor isn't warped by years and years of disappointment. He has ambition and drive and still believes that he can be and do anything that he wants to. We are at the same stage in our lives, kind of just starting out, I am starting over after a divorce and he is just starting. He likes me for the very reasons that you mentioned. I am mature, I know what I want, I don't play games, I want to love and be loved. We met in a Narcotics Anonymous room and we both have multiple years free of drugs and alcohol. It is hard to find someone that doesn't drink--especially for a 24 year old--- I think I am very lucky, Simon is a wonderful man.

I always dated older man, but ended up marrying a man 2 years younger than me. It's funny but the older man I dated didn't want to commit and the younger one did. He is a little childish at times, but I like taking care of him. =)

I prefer older men, Age is just a number, it has nothing do do with anything.
I am 45, my spouse is 64, thats a 19 year difference, and we have been together for 27 YEARS. I think when you find someone wright, age does not matter.........
