Consumer Report says that the LG is now the best, if you believe that magazine. Previously, I believe it was Whirlpool Duet. Stand in front of one for a while at the store and see if you like it. Depending on your stature, be sure you can handle all the bending over to get inside....you're not used to that if you're using a top loader now. Consider pedestals to raise the opening so you don't have to stoop as much.

One advantage of the front loader is that it really does get cloths much cleaner. The question then is: Do you really need that much more cleaning power? My wife and I really don't get things that dirty, so would not benefit from the additional cleaning ability of the front load machine. If you race dirt bikes, you'll think differently.

AEG,is the washing machine I own , it a great machine it´s energy efficient , gives great results and the thing I love best about it is. I can time it to come on when ever I like . So the clothes are ready to hang at the time I choose.

There is a machine that washes and dries. It costs a little more but hey, saves space and the time of you having to switch laundry around. I've heard they work really well too.

all the dealings i have had with front loaders is problems,
leakage, ease of use,
top loaders will last longer, do just as good job in cleaning, less problems, and less expensive,
