I'm going to Orlando in October and as i'm under 21 I cant rent a car. Im staying on International drive. I know that certain hotels offer complimentary transportation to the main theme parks but I would also like to be able to go to the Florida Mall as well as the Orlando Premium outlet, both of these places are almost out of reach walking. At night I will mainly go to the restaurants and attractions around International drive. What are the easy ways to get around except the expenseve way of a Taxi everywhere?

Some folks here really do not know what they are talking about.

There is just one lynx bus (no transfers) between I-drive and the Florida mall (Link 42).

There is just 2 buses (one transfer) between I-drive and Downtown Disney (link 38 to central station, link 300 to Disney) This route will take a while though because it goes 10 miles in the wrong direction to get the transfer (which is direct to Disney from downtown Orlando) - So a hotel shuttle makes more sense for that if you can get one.

From the northern end of Idrive (wet and wild area) just walk to Universal. If on the Southern end, (Convention center) just walk to sea world or take the I-drive trolley bus.

To get from I-drive to the theme parks using the "lynx" bus system you will have to change busses like 27 times and it will take about three hours.. I have NO idea why those other people told you to do that. If you can't rent a car then taking a taxi would be the only other real choice. Oh, that other person mentioned the "I-ride trolley".. that ONLY goes up and down I-drive so they don't know what they are talking about either.

If all you're doing is going to topic parks, you are able to save a good number of money by ability of staying at a motel that has unfastened return and forth centers to established Studios, Disney, and moist-N-Wild. Many resorts, much extra on your funds ones, supply this provider for unfastened. stay interior the international (I-power) section because of the fact this is centrally placed and is packed with identifying to purchase up and down that highway. Taxis are costly so sidestep them. by ability of ways, Lake Buena Vista is a intense-high quality section yet in case you haven't any longer have been given a vehicle, do no longer stay there considering the fact which you haven't any longer have been given lots else to do there than to save at their very high priced industry. sturdy success

Sounds like you'll need to use the bus system (Lynx), although I'd save as much money as possible for cabs, since they'll get you there quicker. Otherwise, take advantage of the hotel shuttles ... they should get you to the main spots you want to visit.

In the source is a link to the Lynx website, but it's more confusing than helpful.

theres of course our public transportation, lynk, they go everywhere - including all around the FL mall. and then on I-drive theres a trolley thing called "i-ride", and of course like u said a hotel shuttle.
there will be plenty of ways dont worry :o) and have fun!
and besides, traffic here SUCKS so its just as well u dont have to drive.
