i recently wrecked my friend's pc by reinstalling it.the video and lan drivers got installed but the audio driver installation kept saying "failed".i told him to browse the cd and install realtek directly which didnt work too.he said he the version of driver is "R1.41" and his motherboard is d102ggc2.could anyone pls help me in dis by sending me any drivers.


any help appreciated...

Try reinstalling the driver BUT this time with ALL startups disabled in msconfig. Click start, click Run, type msconfig, ok. Select Startup tab, disable all, apply. You can enable later at this same page.

So he has the Intel Board D102GGC2?

you can download audio driver through internet. there are a lot of audio driver u can download: realtek, vinyl, c media, indeo etc. just download them all and install on at a time.
