♥ I moved to NJ from DE about 9 months ago. I moved to Northern Jersey [[Clifton, Passaic, Paterson, Wayne area]]. I'm about 30 minutes away from the city. There are many factors that you need to look at: will you be communting to the city? do you want to live near the beach [[such as AC or Seaside]] or do you wanna live in town with all the highways at a hands reach? do you wanna buy a house or rent an apartment? etc.

♥ I like where I live [[even though its very city-ish because I'm a country girl]]. I'm currently attending college, working full time & I moved here to be with the love of my life! :-) It's a nice place to live, but very fast paced.

HI,
I have lived all over NJ, from north to central.
It really depends on how much in rent/buying a home you want to spend, and where do you work. Commuting can range from $60-$300 a month to get into NYC. Closer to NYC you are the more rent/housing costs. Feel free to get back to me for details.

Bergen County has the best schools if you have kids. if you do not have kids, it is still great as you will get the best resale on the house purchase. Amazing housing market.
Also good transporation bus and trains to NYC.
Just go to the njtransit.com web site and look at Bergen Main lines and pick the towns with train stations.
