Don't know when but if any Network, it's likely to be Vodaphone. I'm surprised that you asked as most people are waiting for the next generation of Nokias, with the Microsoft OS that will support "Mobile Office" etc. My Nokia holds 4Gbs at the moment and I now want one with 8Gbs. I have Sat Nav etc. etc. and regularly watch "FULL" DVDs on my phone. I wouldn't touch an iphone!

Well, I am surprised that O2 are going to sell it? I thought it would have been Vodaphone as O2 without 3G is a severe waste of money. As for Apple, they have always been useless, as most i-pod users will say. It didn't take long before they found out that the i-pod batteries would fail and / or drain too fast. With a bit of luck, the i-phone might make a two minute call before going flat on you LOL

O2 have the exclusive on it in the UK. Vodafone pulled out when Apple said it wasn't going to support 3G.

It will be released in November or early December on contract only. You will have to take out a contract for 2 years, Apple get 10% of everything you spend, the phone is overpriced and uses technology that was introduced over 5 years ago! Not the greatest move for a company encouraging you to download large files using such a slow connection.

Do yourself a favour and get a high end Nokia you don't have to shell out hundreds of pounds of your hard earned on. You will get a better phone with more features. If you are adamant you want to buy something so wildly out of date I have a Betamax VCR you can buy......it comes with a remote control you have to plug into the front of it and trail a wire over your floor........RETRO just like the iPhone........looks good but lacking modern functions we are accustomed to.

Totally agree with the majority of the answerers here-what happened, did everyone wake up?

Mate it dont do MMS, or 3G, or ringtones as we are accustomed to.....its a blimmin 2mp camera and NO video recording facilty!

Apples fan-boys are lost, I'm telling you.

who cares?
its a typical apple product
over priced, underspecced, derivative and late to market.. just like the IPod. its only real attribute is it look real purdy.

Having said that its arguable that until a UK network starts offering bundled data at reasonable rates then the Apple phone will not take off.
