you Must have Rewritable Drive in your Pc/Laptop otherwise you can play music but you can't burn it on to CD.

The only downfall to using RW Media is that you have to erase the whole disc to copy again on it unless you buy software that will enable you to do otherwise.
Why not use CD-R it is the most recognised anyway.

most cd players will not read a RW CD. so when you burn the cd make sure to close it,

A CD-RW means that it is re-writeable you can burn music then erase and burn again
a CD-R means it is writeable and you can only burn music onto it once

You can burn any format like Audio, data, images, vcd etc.
if you are using windows xp or vista they have integrated softwares with them by using that you can do burn you RW cds
you need not to use Nero or NTI
