Probably some guy who discovered the 'cooked' remains of an animal after a wild fire. Decided that this was a good way to eat meat and strove to develop fire for everyday use.
The idea would eventually spread like wild fire.

Miss Alotta Burns first discovered fire around about 80 thousand years ago while visiting relatives in Asia. Suffice it to say, the discovery caught on.

Unfortunately an asteroid struck his home millions of years ago and he was killed along with the dinosaurs, thus leaving him unable to record his discovery.

In Greek mythology it was Promethean - who stole fire from Gods and gave it to the human. I know this myth for sure, but some ppl belive in it and some dont. its still myth n not a fact
