I'm going on a month of taking birth control and I am on the pills you take when time for your period and mine hasn't hit yet. Is this normal?

I have taken the 4th pill and there is always a condom used each time sex takes place and as silly as it sounds we try and see after it's all over if it has busted or not.

How many days have you taken the placebo pills? It's normal for your period to not come until the 5th or 6th pill at times. Since this is your very first month on the pill, don't be surprised if your period doesn't even come at all. Sometimes, it can take a while for everything to regulate itself.

Also, if your period is late- for example, not starting until the 5th pill or so, then don't expect your period to automatically stop once you start taking a new pack of pills. Sometimes it can take two or three active pills before your period stops.

But yes, it's normal, and nothing to worry about. If you've had unprotected sex, though, be careful- sometimes, it can take up to a month before the pill becomes 100% effective. If you've had unprotected sex, and still don't get your period, take a test to make sure you aren't pregnant.

beginning administration the 1st couple of months or so won't even supply you a era. in case you have not had it in approximately 2 or 3 greater weeks, do not freak out. basically pass get a attempt and spot what it says. If that's a detrimental, you're solid. If not, pass to the surgeon's for a blood attempt. it extremely is foolproof. in case you stop taking beginning administration and start up up back, make certain you have not have been given intercourse that first month. you nonetheless have a much better hazard of having pregnant through fact your physique isn't used to the pills yet. basically stay calm. each and every little thing occurs for a reason. basically be greater careful and start up up making use of condoms.

It doesn't sound silly,I used to the same thing when I first started using the pill.Better to be extra safe, but you need to relax.Your pill will be 99.9% effective so your risk of pregnancy is very low.If you are with someone you love and trust, stop obsessing about the condom. If you are not then keep using them to prevent STD's.Don't worry about your period your body takes a while to adjust to all the hormones contained in your pill,if you are anxious take a pregnancy test.I wouldn't worry so much though stress, weight loss/gain can also affect your period,so chill out and enjoy sex.

sometimes the dosage is too strong for certain individuals, and they will not get their periods. this is why there are so many different types and dosages on the market, it may take a few changes before your DR gets the perfect one for you.
