Almost never, it is NOT comfortable at all!!!!! But, it is very trendy and stylish. My hubby picked it out and the only reason I agreed is b/c he never voices his opinion about anything like that.
I refuse to give up my old sofa and love seat though. They are currently stored in the garage so that I can have them reupholstered one day. They are a Seally or Serta brand and are the most comfortable sofas in the world. I've had many people tell me, after sleeping on them, that they are more comfortable than their bed. But, they have a hideous floral fabric on them so they will stay in the garage for now.

In a comparison between a futon sofa sleeper and a standard couch sofa sleeper There is no Comparison! The Futon wins "hands-down" Most of us have had the incredibly horrible experience of sleeping on a "regular" sofa sleeper that folds out from a couch. Most of us have dealt with the springs sticking through and the bars that run horizontally across the center of your back. Other than sleeping on a pile of rocks and sticks this is clearly the most uncomfortable sleeping experience possible. A standard sofa sleeper doesn't make sense unless you have relatives visiting who you don't particularly care for and don't want them to stay too long. The fact of the matter is that many standard couch sleepers don't sit much better than they sleep. The standard sleep sofa comes with one mattress choice and always one that is uncomfortable. Futon covers can be removed and cleaned so if a spill occurs the sofa is not permanently damaged. Stain the standard sleeper...you're done. Call Goodwill or drag it to the curb. Futon covers are removable. You can change the look of your room just by putting on a new cover. Ever try to carry or move a standard couch sleeper? Or take one upstairs to your home office? The futon is comprised of components that can easily be disassembled and moved. Call the chiropractor ...you'll need it if you're moving a standard sofa couch around

It's pretty comfortable, and if you take the cushions off of the back it's almost as big as a twin-size bed. I sleep on it fairly often because I fall asleep watching t.v. You see, my life is filled with excitement!

I sleep on the couch more than my bed. My couch is so comfortable .. sad part is I don't have a wife making me sleep on the couch. I would say about 4 times a week I sleep on it. "Sad I know" Wanna buy a bed? Thanks Jay..

It's a futon and it's not comfortable at all. I sleep on it once a month or a little less than that.

It is very comfortable, it's soft and has the laz-y-boy thingies that lets you lean back and put your feet up. It's great, but if
I do happen to fall asleep on it, one of my daughters or my
hubby will wake me up and send me up to bed, because I fall asleep watching TV and apparently I snore and ruin whatever they might be watching ! (lol)
