The BT extension box in my from room has been knocked off the wall and the wires are now loose, I need to find really simple instructions on how to rewire it! Can anyone help.

And before any of you say phone BT they want £116 just to come out then £90 per hour labour so I wont be asking them to come (even they said do it yourself!)

Take the box apart, refix it to the wall then terminate the wiring as follows. The blue wire with white rings goes to terminal 2, the white wire with blue rings goes to terminal 5 and the orange wire with white rings goes to terminal 3. That is assuming you have the modern colour coded wire. You may also need an insertion tool if the extension box doesn't have screw terminals, but you can buy one for about £1 from diy stores. Failing that buy a new extension kit for about £15-20 and do it again from scratch.
