Honestly, having money can do different things to different people. To me, the key factor is what you do with your money. If you're concerned about buying a lot of material possession, being rich might make you feel better than other people. As Paul said in the Bible, "the love of money is the root of all evil." But if you contribute to good causes (because you believe in it, not for recognition), then having money is a good thing.

well I think that depends on the person. Some people who are rich, can have a tendency to be very snobbish and only think of themselves. while others are very giving, sharing there wealth. The same goes for the poor, they might not have money to give, but they give freely what they can. I married into a family that had money and I have to say, I was no different then , then I am now. I would do anything for anyone if they truly needed my help.

I used to be poor, so I've seen both sides of the fence. I'm still the same person, but having money makes me more confident about myself, and less stressed about life in general. If I need something, I just go and get it without having to wonder how much money is in the checking account- or which credit card has available funds on it. Some people let money get to their heads, but others don't- and it's those you would not picture as having money.

When it comes to peoples attitudes, not everything is as it appears. Many people that appear to be wealthy are dirt poor and way in over their heads in debt. Also, some people whom you would not picture as rich, don't appear so because they really don't have a need to show off. Those are the left and right sides of it, and there are many that are in-between. I know this farmer friend of mine, who will not think twice about going to walmart in his dirty overalls, and his is a millionaire with over 900 acres of productive farmland. He drives a 1960 Ford Truck with rust all over it, and you would judge him as being poor. He gave each of his three children a new Mercedes for their 18th birthday- paid in full. He is one of the nicest people I know, and whom I try to remember to keep myself in perspective.

If you are mega rich, yes, too much money makes you a greedy individual, you get so used to the luxury and think nothing of spending thousands of dollars on rubbish such as a so called fancy bra/lingerie, its pathetic but as they are all committing a sin and they are all going to die like the rest of us, I get satisfaction out of that, they can't take the money with them and most ends up going back to the taxman.
