play in the snow with my kids and make home made hot chocolate with candy canes for them (and peppermint schnapps for me!)

Watch kids faces. I'm lucky enough to have seen lots of snow in my life. I live in Greece now and it hadn't snowed here for over 20 years, it snowed in the mountains about 3 years ago and many people had never seen snow, just the look of awe on the kids faces was wonderful, making snowmen and throwing snowballs. The only downside was the mountain roads were gridlocked and there were a few bumps as no-one knew how to drive in it!!

Being in AZ it doesn't snow much in the valley. However, when I travel up north to the high country. I love to get a really soft, big blanket. Take the love of my life out on the balcony of my hotel suite, order up some hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows. Cuddle up under the blanket on the balcony. And just listen to each other take deep breaths and we enjoy the snow. It's cold outside, but the warmth of both of us under the blanket is so intimate and romantic. No naughty stuff, just listen to each others heart and breath. I find often that our breaths are identical and in rhythm.

I like going for a walk in it, building a snow man, skidding in the snow, throw snow balls and last time it snowed I built a very small igloo. It could only just about fit one person.

I try and get out early so that i can be the first one to leave my footprints.
Sledging is really good fun.
Sitting in front of a 'real fire' watching the snow coming down at night.

Watch the kids play out in the garden building snow men with their dad while I'm nice and warm indoors.

I like to light the coal fire, make hot chocolate and sit at the window with a cosy jumper and watch the snow in the warmth of my little house.

There isn't much of that in California, but when I did live in New Mexico, where it did snow, I wanted to just stay inside and look at it from inside the house. I loved it, but it was a real novelty coming from California, we moved back too....
