We never forget our first love...when dreaming we use our subconscious mind.
As long as you're not constantly thinking of him while you're awake or fantasizing about him when making love to your husband, I wouldn't worry.

Don´t feel alone, I´ve been married for a year and every now and then I still dream of my ex. Even though he was such an @sshole and I never really loved him.
I love my husband more than anything, but can´t explain why I still dream of the @sshole. I´ve learned to ignore it and just put everything into my marriage !!!

Sounds like your ex was your first. I think everyone has a special place in their heart for their first. It may be that your ex represents something to you that you're missing, not necessarily that it's him you're missing.
What is it about your ex that you miss? Is it something he did? The way he made you feel? Complimented you? You need to figure that out and then try to put whatever it is you're missing into your marriage.

You are feeling unfulfilled and it has nothing to do with either your ex or your husband.
Get a grip! See a counselor, get a hobby, make new female friends, spend time with your children, or go back to school. Do something creative.
Ex's always seem better in hindsight than they really were....

well firstly its only normal to have a soft spot for the your first love and secondly as time passes its easy to fanticise about how good things were but in reality there weren't that good as he is your ex for a reason. In time you will think less about him esp if you are in love with your husband...

it doesnt matter what you dream as long as you know how you feel and what you want when you're awake. we dream things all the time and wonder why we dream them. i've had dreams of being with a female but i love men and wouldnt dare go that way. we dream weird, our mind wonders!

Maybe you never have completely gotten over him. Also if he's the one that broke up with you maybe you didn't get the closure you needed.
