Karliah or Karlyeyh (pronounciation: Kar-li-aah and Karly-ei)?

Can you suggest any better spellings, especially for the second name, Karlyeyh? So far, I've thought of Karlyeyh, Karliey, Karlyeh, Karliehe, and Carlyeh. Which is better, and why?

Those are pretty names - classic with a twist - but I prefer the first one. I think the emphasis should be on the first syllable (KAR-li-ah)

I would suggest using c and i instead of k and y. It looks more feminine that way (call me old fashioned!)

Carlia

You could put an h on the end, but I think names look nicer when they're spelt as simply as possible.

Hmm... you are getting quite creative here with the spellings. Not necessarily a good thing for people having to pronounce and spell your child's name.

For the first one I'd do either Carlia or Carleah.

For the second, I honestly can't find a spelling that doesn't look ridiculous. If you were French, I'd suggest Carliée.

To be honest I think a classic name like Carly/Karly should just be spelt like that. All the other spellings just looked so weird and unpronouncable to me.
I could probably see these work though...
Carlee / Carlie / or with a K
Karlia / Carlia /
Carlita / Kaleeta ???

I really don't like any of your spellings other than Karliah (I could see it and say it without having to think about it)

best of luck

There both pretty names but I don't like how you have spelt them as you would need the pronunciation next to them for people to know what they are, and your daughter will spend the rest of her life spelling her name or correcting people which take it from me is no fun no matter how cool you think spelling her name different is now. I would go Karlia.

Honestly, all of those spellings are all very confusing to look at and try to pronounce correctly.

If you like that pronunciation, then why not Karlia/Carlia or even Karleah/Carleah? Adding the extra "y" and "h" and "e" and "i" is just too much.

Karleah or Carlia

The 2nd one will never be pronounced correctly.
