This question arises from a belief that we had an existence even before birth.... since the question is so prevalent in everyone's mind, it appears that we do believe we are different from our physical body that takes birth and ends in death... that we own this body of ours rather than be identified with it.

In my view, yes, there is ample reason to believe that our existence is not limited to the existence of our physical body. But there is little clarity as to where we were before this birth and where we would be after death and our existence pre and post life would entail what kind of experience without the help and support of the body.

I however believe that we came from some sort of non-physical existence which could be similar to the existence of thoughts in our mind, which we can't remember as soon as we take birth into this physical life. Which then means this question of where we came from is not possible to be answered in this life of ours.

I came from Old Albay, Legaspi City, Bicol, Philippines. This is my birthplace where lies the Magnificent Mayon Volcano, noted for its perfect cone volcano. This is also famous to erupt every 10 years. However, am now staying in La Purisima, Pili, Camarines Sur, Bicol, Philippines.

On your question if where we came from i believe our ancestors came from different ancestors. And there is no particular clear explanation of our roots but religion has its own explanation that we came from Adam and Eve. Science has its own explanation too. But really we are free to believe what to follow. And up to this writing this is still the most sought question.

I dunno' really. I am an identical twin, and a mirror twin too, which simply means when we stand facing each other the sides of whatevers match up that way. It also means we were possibly a touch close to being siamese twins.

So--our mom nearly died in Caesarian, we were incubated and later shipped off to grandparents too old for twins. Heck, everyone is! My parents say sometimes they diapered the same twin twice, etc.! So who's to say I'm not my twin? And where DID we come from... identical twins are an asexual process.
Why did we happen?

I'm gonna' have to stick to I dunno'. Darn. Got all side-tracked. Sorry, angel.

We come from our Father, there is only one with many names. In reality we live & breathe & have our being in our source, the real illusion is the belief that we ever really left.

If one is able to Know where s/he is going, then the source of our coming will be known. And to know where one is going is taking charge of our Present Moment . How it is lived.

Consider this. Maybe "we" don't exist at all. Maybe God/Spirit/The Creatrix (whatever you want to call it) is experiencing life through our eyes. Feeling through our bodies. Maybe "we" are actually a part of this Spirit and our real job is to wake up and realize who we really are inside. (Just food for thought)
