i notice the same exact thing and i also am too embarassed to ask. it always happens the next day, i now think its normal since there are other women who are having the same things happen. it also never happens to me when we do not have sex, only the day after we have sex. For me its not everytime, its only sometimes on the days after. i have been told to try a product called rephresh, it replaces the ph in your body. i havent tried it yet, but i heard it works great for this. you can buy it at walmart or target.
thanks for asking this question, i think you have eased alot of other women who were too embarassed to ask.

I've never actually noticed a smell the day after sex so I don't know. Do you smell this smell all the time or is it only after sex? If its all the time then there's probably something wrong, but if it's just after sex I wouldn't worry too much it's probably normal. Even if your embarrassed go to the doctors anyways to make sure. If you don't want to see your doctor then go to another doctor who you won't ever have to see again. LIke at a walk in clinic. That's what I do when I don't want to see my own doctor.

If you don't shower straight after sex ( which a lot of people don't so don't worry about that) it can get a bit smelly during the night. I call it the 'sex smell'. Try showering after sex or at least going to the toilet afterward and if it gets bad or doesn't change then you can by one of those shower hoses that attach to the shower head and maybe have a better clean (if you know what I mean!)!!!

All i know is its pretty normal. You can buy vaginal creams for things like smelly bits too. Try looking at the supermarket!

best of luck

It is normal to smell like him after having sex. Just take a shower and the smell should go away.

I think that's normal. Some time you should try getting up straight after sex and using the bathroom, maybe get some of those feminine wipes to freshen up and then see what you're like the next day!
I think it's natural to smell after sex like that! lol.
Of course it could be bacterial vaginosis so if you are really concerned, see your doctor. Don't be embarrassed! Doctors have heard it all!!
Good luck, sweetie. x

Perhaps you do need your doctor, Hunny!

A certain amount of oudour is normal but not a bad smell. You may well have an infection that needs urgent treatment.

If you don't want to visit your doctor why don't you go to your local sexual health /family planning clinic attached to your hospital. They will keep your confidence and give you the right treatment.

generally after sex when the semen starts to disolve in our vagina it may get a fishy odor. IF you only have this odor after sex and then it goes away it is probaly just the semen. If your not ttc try doucheing after sex. If that doesnt resolve the issue then you may have an infection. Certain types of yeast infections cxan cause that odor and also STDs. good luck
