Well, to be fair, Tony Brafa, the actor who played Enrico Pallazzo, did die (on Sept. 30, 1993):

Enrico Pallazo was a parody of Luciano Pavarotti! He's the one that died! And besides, Enrico Pallazo was a fictional character from The Naked Gun!

I like your joke though!

LOL...no it was Pavarotti who died. You might be thinking of Enrico Curuso who died a long time ago. He was also a famous opera singer

Wow! Why is this so popular? I do believe sleep walking is a real sleeping disorder. So, it stands to reason that people could injure themselves while they're asleep and not realize that they had real physical situation that injured them. I believe the dreamer is unaware of their activities and the potential dangers while dreaming. Therefore it does stand to reason that one could accidentally fatally injure one's self while sleep walking. However, I do not believe that the mind magically manifests injuries while dreaming in a normal sleep paralysis state. Nor do I believe that a dream would potentially "shut your brain off". Dreams are our subconscious mind processing our waking and emotional experiences beyond what our "thinking mind" can accomplish. If you had an experience that was so frightening that it would kill you in your sleep while processing the emotions from it, you're already dead.

You goose- you've been watching far too many Naked Guns.

It was Luciano Pavarotti, aged 71 dying of pancreatic cancer. God rest his soul and many grateful thanks for his genius and his voice he gifted us with.

A very sad day for the music world.
