Your period could be coming any time now. As for the cramping yes sometimes it can be very painful especially when starting out for some women and girls, but not everyone has cramps.
I would recommend discussing this with your mom as well and also your doctor at your next check up for even more information.

Hello, I can help you with this. I started my period a bit late, not until i was already 14 years old! This is not unusual. It is difficult to project when your period will come. Yes it is likely that you could begin at any time (literally) My sister started her period at 12. Does your period hurt? Well that depends on the person. Some girls will get really bad cramps, (that is the pain they are talking about,it can be pretty uncomfortable in your abdominal area, you kinda don't even want to move sometimes) But it's nothing to be scared of, no more than you would fear having a headache, or a stomacheache) Some girls have alot of trouble with cramps, some even have to go to the emergency room for the pain in severe cases) but alot of girls like to talk about their period like it's a big deal so they dramatize the extent of the discomfort, most girls can just take some pamprin or midol and feel better. There is nothing to be afraid of, you will have your period exactly when you are meant to, and TRUST ME on this ENJOY NOT HAVING A PERIOD. It's far more annoying once you have it, and you will miss not having one. lol So don't rush don't worry just enjoy yourself and things will come all in due time.

yes your period could be close, it doesnt actually hurt in the way most people think its more like belly ache some people get it really bad others feel nothing, when i was younger i thought the period hurt to come out but dont worry from my experience it doesnt.
