my school has taken a step up and now provides some more healthier choices(the closest we could get to a vegetable before was by eating french fries and the closest to a fruit was apple pie) also, we only used to have gym for 1 semester and not every day(in our middle school) and now we have it 2-3 days a week for the whole year. its not helping though cuz in lunch people are still choosing the fries and pizza and we have vending machines. i think that we need to ban the fries and pizza and burgers completely and find healthier things. actually though, not alot of people in my school are overweight(but im 1 of the unlucky few who could stand 2 loose a few pounds) most of them dont eat lunch and are anorexic and really thin

Why should "America" have to. Most kids have parents to raise them. Hopefully they can do a better job than the government.
With that being said, cutting out excess sugars and fats and encouraging more exercise. Oh, and getting off the computer (like Y!A) and doing some activity.

This is just an attempt of the government to redirect it's citizens away from the real issues...Immigration, War in Iraq, Poor relations with other Foreign Nations. ect. It is not the government's responsibility to have any input into what I or anyone else chooses to eat or drink. As long as I am not going out and committing crimes...causing destruction to others person or property...it is non of their ******* business.

Other than there being a medical condition, I say it isn't anyone's business if a person is obese. ENOUGH already. Everyone is making all these laws and rules, and regulations what I can do and what I can't do. ENOUGH, STOP ALREADY. If an obese person wants help with his/her condition they can ask. IF they don't ask, then BACK OFF.

I think the problem lies more with the unatural foods that have become part of most peoples daily reigeimes.

i think anything with gluten in it should be banned. carbs are the most fattening thing.
that way we can still enjoy chocolate. just gluten free =D
