Does anyone knows how to do Planchette?? Is it true that you can call spirits and ask them question.
Has anyone ever tried doing it? does it really works!

The planchette is used with a Ouija board. It's basically a pointing device that the players all put a finger or two on and move around to select letters, numbers, yes or no.

The Ouija board is marketed as a device to summon spirits (see the Toys R Us advertisement link below!), but of course this is bunk. It's a game that works on the ideomotor effect, not on spirit activity. You'll find plenty of stories of people spooking themselves silly with this board game, but it's just their power of suggestion and hysteria messing with them.

I don't believe its true and any serious research I have seen on ouija boards suggests the same. They dont work. In fact, when the users are blindfolded and the ouija board is turned upside down without thier knowledge, it produced nonsense.
If you are talking about using a cup like they do in the show "Most Haunted" I will point out how fake that show is. They are obviously moving the cup around with thier fingers. They all know all the information about the location before hand, so the psychic premonitions about the ghosts haunting the place are rediculous.

I will point out that if it does work, and I am wrong, then the stories I have seen suggest it summons demons and people become possessed and all this horrible stuff that you would never want to happen.

A planchette is the pointer device used when playing with a Ouija board. It operates on the principle known as the ideomotor effect. You can ask a question and the thing will move apparently on its own. It's fun, but it's not paranormal. No spirits are communicating through it. Do it anyway. It's a blast.

A planchette is the plastic heart shaped device that moves on the Ouija board. They can also be used for automatic writing by placing a pencil in and it works similar to a Ouija board except it is writing. I have never experienced this but have read about it. I woul dhave to see the writing myself to believe it.

The Ouija board comes with instructions. The planchette is the triangle piece in the middle which points to letters and numbers. In earlier versions this piece had a pencil in the middle and was used to write messages from the spirits.

I (nor anyone else) knows if you can call spirits and ask them questions with the board. What is known is that the planchette does not move by itself it is moved by tiny muscle movements in your fingertips that you are unaware are happening. This was tested years ago by Michael Faraday who always found evidence of physical force being used to move the planchette.

Skeptics dismiss the board for the reason above and because when blindfolded or the board is covered it produces mostly nonsense. However, this assumes that a spirit is not using your eyes to see and that spirits have God like powers to see through covered boards.

While it would be difficult to separate communication of spirits from ESP a better test would be to have a sitter by proxy. Have a person decide who they want you (and others using the board to contact) and then have that person not in the room or using the board. Then contact and ask questions. Then check with the person not using the board to see if you acquired any information known only to him or her.

Not sure what you mean by "planchette" but that is the name for the moving part of an Ouija board.

Yes you can call spirits with an Ouija board, but it's not a good idea!! You don't know whether they mean you good or harm, and they can "attach" to you and cause mischief. I recommend you avoid this.

I remember me and my girlfriend (both staunch skeptics) digging out a Ouija board that an old roommate left us.

We sat there.... and sat there...

The flesh was willing, but the spirits were weak.

You don't want to do that. You'll end up with bad, evil spirits and this isn't a joke,or a lie!
