I'm 36, have worn one for yrs. (my art stuff, small portpolio's paper, keys, cell, pills, etc.) & I don't wanna carry a "packpack", cause they cause too much "suspition" when in puplic places & I'm not a "thief". (someone told me it may be a fact why I rarely date, but be honest)

The thought, "gay" comes to mind. I'm sorry.

Guys are totally clueless about women and what they really want. A guy thinks with the wrong head always. If he thought about how to make a woman happy, with the shoulder head, the other head would be taken care of without worry.

Since they're not 'fashionable' @ the time, anyone who would use one would strike me as some-one who thinks for himself/herself, is practical & probably intelligent. It also takes a certain courage in many cases. You're an artist, so I wouldn't expect you to be a mindless servant to 'style.'
I wouldn't think 'geeky' or any other unpleasant term unless there were other factors to consider & 'gay' wouldn't occur to me b/c none of the gay ppl I know wears one.
If my SO decided to use one (he does have one in a box somewhere around here), I'd have no problem with that-- he wouldn't need to keep asking me to carry his stuff.

0.o ive never seen a guy with a fanny pack. only 10 year old boys or 90 year old men. sorry but get a mailman bag or some one shouldered bag. they look way cooler and youll look hotter wearing one.

seriously, i think they are foolish. It would be better for you to carry something like a square leather bag with a strap if you must carry something in addition to a wallet or money clip.

If it's really tight around the hips, and tiny then it looks weird.
But if the fanny pack is a bit sagged and big, then it looks really cool. (This guy I went hiking with had a fanny pack like that).

Sorry, gay comes to mind here too. Or, "that guy needs to let his girlfriend put that stuff in her purse!"

I see nothing wrong or gay about that. This is a free country and free to be me time.
