The yolk is food for the embryo, that little white attachment to the yolk is the chicken, so if its attached to the yolk is it consider the yolk, maybe some think so. So the chicken doesn't technically come from the white either. It comes from that little embryo attachment.

They form from neither. Egg white is akin to human amniotic fluid-it surrounds and cushions the growing embryo. The yolk is the source of food for the embryo.

there is a little more protein in the egg white than in the egg yolk although if you eat them both, you will intake more.

They don't come from either, theres a small embryo attached to the yolk and it comes from that. So saying it comes from either is wrong, what's your point?
