Well, friend, get your butt in gear and either change jobs to something more challenging and more in line with the skills you actually possess, or go back to school and get some education and training with a view towards developing a career. Either way, you'll come out ahead.

Try to find information on "selling yourself" at an interview. Make sure your resume is tip top so you get the interview. What is your master's in? If it's an obscure degree, rethink your choices in that department and do what you need to do to. Can you go for a teaching degree to compliment your master's? Could you get a busines degree to compliment your masters? Could you get a counseling certificate? Try volunteer work in your off work hours. Good luck!!

I am in a similar situation, only the job is...permanent. To avoid depression, you must find an activity that will make you feel useful. This is the only way out!

I once had a friend who got concerned because she couldn't devote herself to meditation the way she always had, once she gave birth to her baby.

So, instead of counting her breaths in seated meditation, she practiced counting her baby's toes.
