Yes. Consider this:

One day, our planet will die. Perhaps it will be eons from now, but nonetheless, Earth will one day cease to exist.

The only thing left behind will be our sattelite and radio waves from television broadcasts. So if there is any chance of making a lasting impact or impression on anyone at all, it is with TV or film.

Supposing, of course, that there is another form of life in the universe that is actually listening for these waves.

Hell no! too much of a hassle and only one day not enough time to ruin their reputation or take advantage of their status as a celebrity no matter how you look at it the next day you will be you.

I think I would give it a try for some good money but I would back out early because of all the paparazzi.I would want my personal space for myself and my family.
