if so can you tell me if they are ok / legit etc as am changing my mortgage and this company has offered deal through bank of scotland but as i have never heard of them before now i want to be sure that the company is ok.

There are thousands of rip-off merchants trying to part you from your money every minute of every day.
All these guys do is take your money and (if you are lucky) try to get you a Mortgage with a 'real' Bank or Building Society (typically at some enormous Interest rate that will lead to IVA/Bankruptcy within a year or two)..
However most people with poor Credit Ratings (who have maxed out their Credit Cards) are only too happy to hand over large amounts of cash rather than to do something that needs a bit of hard work .. (such as going direct to Bank of Scotland)
