No I don't think it's a poor invention and it certainly isn't on my list of worst inventions ever. I think there are problems with it that should be worked out and I think the "mac geniuses" should spend more time with and/or learn more about simple repairs instead of offering a new ipod. But hell no, it's not a poor invention. It's revolutionized the world.

nah i dont believe its the worst invention ever...there are more than a few other things that take that title. i love my IPOD i couldnt carry all the cds that i have with me everywhere i go. I can however with the Ipod...don't have any issues with it as an invention.

My iPod is pretty good, except battery life sucks, which makes my "video" version useless...
I'll have your 30 GB iPod...also did you hear about the NEW IPod Touch? It's a touch screen :)
